Eljai Releases Another New Single Beautiful Produced By J Vibe
International Reggae artist, ELJAI, has released his next single “Beautiful” from his upcoming album, available on Friday December 21, 2012.
The long awaited song “Beautiful” from Belizean born Reggae artist, ELJAI (pronounced el-jay) is Co-produced by Grammy Nominated Producer Jason ” Vibe” Farmer and Cyclone Entertainment.
His previously released single “Frenemy” reached #1 on the World Reggae Chart (weekly countdown hosted by Ron Muschette in Jamaica), #4 in the Pree Dis TV show Magnum Top 10 video charts and up to #6 on the New York Top 30 Reggae Singles Chart. The song has already over 950,000 streams after its premier on ReggaeVille.com, plus 18Karat Reggae.com and Eljai’s Spotify Account.
This is his third single since acclaimed I KNOW release in 2010. The song is part of the Summer Bubble Riddim Album which also include other artists such as Honorebel, Cecile, Pressure, Selena Serrano, Richie Campbell and Elephant Man.
The worldwide digital release of the new single will be by Asani Ali Music through Believe Digital Worldwide.
2013 Support Tour
ELJAI just returned from a show in Chicago and will be touring in January – March 2023 in support of the new single and has been announced as a headliner at the Africa Meets Reggae Festival in Nigeria.
Eljai says: “‘Beautiful’ is a song for the ladies, It’s about time I did something for the ladies to let them know that Eljai love and appreciate them. It’s not just about outer appearance but also their inner beauty. Eljai see you my queens. Dem ting tun up, hot like the sun up, when dem touch the road is like the whole place bun up. I just love to see my ladies in all kinds of forms, shapes, sizes and colors, so I had to let them know, you know what I mean?!”
The Early Years
In the early 1990’s Eljai teamed up with Carl and Delly McGregor to form the R & B Group Belize. The group was signed to Prince’s Paisley Park Record Label where they recorded their first album. Belize was later signed to Warner Brothers where the wrote and released “I’m Looking Out For You”, the theme song for the hit Television Series “Real Stories Of The Highway Patrol”.
Solo Act
After the group broke up, Eljai launched his solo career. “I love music, music is my life, from the time I can remember, I have always been doing music, I don’t know what I would do without music, so when the group split up, it was a natural move for me to go out on my own. That’s what I know.” He explains. “I write good music. take a listen and I am sure you would agree.”
