Today, Niko is teaming up with Lloyd Reign and Asani Ali for their anthemic single “Balling” that feels like a instant timeless hit. Backed by swaying percussion and a rumbling bassline, Lloyd Reign’s sensational vocals sit on top, lifting this song in wonderful ways.

The new single “Balling” feels and sounds like a smash hit from the second the needle drops. Light percussion and an array of synths back Lloyd Reign’s strong tenor voice and vivid lyrics, while the track slowly builds to its apex.

“What happened on this song was that Asani, our producer gave Toney, CEO at our record label – Boss Playa Music – a beat. Toney call me up and said ‘yow, I got that fire, come over, I know you gonna like this.’ So I went to the studio and took a listen. Yow, that track was so funky that I felt a rush of inspiration. I was just listening and thinking, Damn! This hits so fucking hard! I had to write something to it so I called up Lloyd. He came over and after listening to the beat and he was like ‘cool, let’s do this.’ He immediately started writing the chorus. I went into the booth and did my thing. That’s how Balling came about.”

Asani Ali produced Max Niko’s latest propulsive single, “Balling,” which fuses fiery electric guitar, thunderous drums, smashing cymbals, pulsating bass and smooth organ. The Song feels like something you can bump in your car on any given day. “I think that was the most important part … the song is just meant to feel like driving down a Country Road, windows down, wind in your face, against a marmalade sunset, stopping as a herd of goats cross the road, or just cursing the boulevard. “A full-length album is obviously what I want, but I’ll never do that until I know every single song belongs on there,” Niko said. “But my new shit, man, that stuff is miles ahead of anything I’ve just released. You find yourself a little more each day, and I’m chillin’ in that sphere these days.”

“I have a lot of good songs in the bank, and I plan to get back with Toney and Asani soon and start recording more. I’m trying to keep it going, and I’m constantly striving to write great songs. I feel like I’m starting to do that now, so I gotta get them out there,” Niko said.
